I'm fine with it, but not sure the 13 year olds parents will be too happy. Now some people have been finding loopholes between the actual rules, and making perverted triggers that affect everyone in the room. It feels much different than looking at 2D video, that's for sure. You might think that virtual reality won't turn you on, but I think it feels really realistic when you're in that type of atmosphere with your headset on. I'm hoping they do age verification if they make an adult-oriented VR chat. This could be an issue, but it will be hard to properly enforce. One thing to keep in mind about a sexual VR game, is that people might lie about their age, gender, etc. Speaking of people under 18 playing this game. I have nothing against this sort of thing, although they should keep it in private rooms, because I know that people under 18 play this game. I've been coloring over the names to protect them from getting banned. Some people have already decided to be daring though. It's against the rules to walk around in the nude in VRChat, or flaunt your adult textures, but I'm sure there will be an adult oriented virtual reality chat experience in the near future. It already feels sensual enough with a headset on, but add a candle lit room and full-body-tracking and it might just tie you over until we get full drop virtual reality. Especially if you add animations, and items into the mix. If you get some avatars with full-body-tracking, I can imagine this experience can get pretty realistic. If you have personal space turned off, you can technically put your head "inside them" and see the hidden textures though. Most people just cover it up, and use triggers to remove their clothes. The rules are that if your avatar has a vagina, you have to cover it up, or edit it out. Private rooms are pretty much everything-goes. If no one in public sees the avatars, it doesn't really 'exist' to them. Turns out that private rooms don't really hold the same rules. This was the first time I had seen a nude avatar in VRChat since I knew it was pretty much against the rules. They were fondling my avatar up, until they got distracted and moved on to another avatar. I was greeted by a short, and very much naked, avatar. I was chatting with a few of the people and they told me to look down. When you look down, you can see your reflection, and also your panties if you're wearing any.Įverything seemed normal. We landed in a cool world, that made it look like we were walking a thin layer of reflective water. Me, being the slightly perverted zombie that I am, was like "Hell yeah!" and off we went. It was a sort of meetup for people to show off their not-so-family-friendly avatars. I was hanging out with one of my friends that I met in VRChat, and he asked me if I wanted to check out a private room that he had met some people in. So, why am I bringing this up today? Because VRChat allowing you to pretty much import any type of model = porn. C'mon, you though it was going to be used just for education and gaming? I've already heard about a few hentai games that are made for VR headsets, and I'm sure their quite entertaining. This is something that we all knew would be a thing. In practice, the mods tend to be hands-off about what goes on in private rooms, although I have heard of them banning entire rooms of people in private worlds before when a certain lines were crossed. There is an adult side of VRChat that comes in the form of private rooms, and hidden secrets. And yes, they have banned people for having an adult-oriented image that appears on profiles/friendlists. I imagine the mod team is very serious about maintaining the current roughly-T content rating. So, yes, report all instances you see of adult content in public lobbies, and all that. Since streaming on twitch is one of the very few ways VRChat's popularity can be spread, it is unlikely that VRChat itself will shoot itself in the proverbial foot by doing this. The moment an "adult" option is available on VRChat, it will be banned from streaming as well, most likely. Thus far, VRChat has not been banned from streaming on twitch. Second Life has been banned from streaming on twitch, as it has been labeled as an "adult" game, even if the adult content is behind a wall. There is a huge difference between Second Life and VRChat. If you check any of the boxes, it informs you that the content you are trying to upload isn't allowed on VRChat. The check boxes you check for violent/adult content when uploading an avatar are traps.
